PACE sets the standard
Superior results are the standard with PACE (Progressive Anaerobic/ Aerobic/Accomodating Circuit Exercise). PACE hydraulic resistance exercise equipment matches the speed and force of the user, allowing anyone at any fitness level to achieve superior results. PACE safely and quickly builds lean muscle tissue, increases endurance, improves cardiovascular health and provides maximum calorie burn. PACE raises versatility to the highest level; it is safe enough for cardiac rehab and physical therapy, yet can still challenge the elite athlete. PACE technology has been used in hundreds of applications ranging from health clubs, orthopaedic physical therapy, sports training centers, weight loss centers, the U.S. military, professional sports teams, high schools, colleges, corporate fitness centers, etc., for more than 20 years.
What is PACE?
PACE is a fun, non-threatening group fitness program that combines a strength and cardiovascular workout in a time efficient half-hour. This interval circuit training program quickly and safely changes your body shape, by utilizing hydraulic resistance that matches the effort of the user (accomodating resistance). PACE is a group personal training program that allows an instructor to work with several clients at the same time.
How does PACE work?
PACE works on a work/rest/work/rest principle alternating between exercise on the hydraulic strength machines and recovery on aerobic stations between each machine. The time spent (interval) on each station is usually 30-45 seconds. PACE may be conducted in classes with an instructor or in an "Open PACE" format where a person starts anywhere in the circuit and works out on their own.
What will PACE do for me?
The major benefit for the PACE user will be inches lost. PACE will strengthen and tone muscles while it burns lots of calories. You will look and feel better quickly and safely.
Is PACE safe for kids? Seniors?
Yes! Because of the double-positive nature of hydraulic resistance, there is no fixed load against the muscle or skeletal systems. PACE is very safe, fun and effective for all ages.
I've never worked out before. Can I do PACE?
Yes! Anyone at any fitness level can do PACE. PACE is safe because it automatically adapts the resistance to match your level of effort. The faster or harder you push the more resistance you incur. As you fatigue during the exercise, the resistance decreases automatically.
How is PACE different from lifting weights?
Everybody knows that lifting weights will make you stronger. But lifting weights does not burn fat or improve aerobic fitness. PACE does all three at the same time. It quickly changes the overall shape of your body by burning fat and increasing lean body weight. PACE also strengthens the most important muscle of all, your heart.
Will I lose weight from PACE?
Yes and No. You will burn body fat faster than any other 30 minute workout; however, as you increase your muscle strength, you may gain a pound or two of muscle weight. You will quickly change your body composition and lose inches.
How many calories does PACE burn?
Research shows that a 30 minute PACE workout burns between 350-900 calories depending on the fitness level of the exerciser and the intensity of the workout. As you progress and gain strength, you will burn off more calories during each workout.
